There’s more to Counter-Strike 2 than just mobility, shooting, and naze throws. Accurate economic and financial accounting is essential for success. A competent player understands how to allocate funds to make the optimal purchase in each round. For each weapon, how much money do you get for frags? How is the economy of a CS2 match calculated?
What is Economy in CS2?
Allocating your dollars, or in-game cash, is the central component of Counter-Strike 2‘s economy. Every match awards you with money to spend on weapons and equipment. You can earn money by making frags or finishing specific objectives in each round. It is necessary to buy separate supplies for items like grenades, armour, weaponry, and even a defuse kit. There are several ways for each competitor to profit in competition.
- Win or Lose, you gain money
- Plant or Defuse, you gain money
- Kill an enemy, you gain money
The only exception are Attack (T-side) players who are still in the game at the end of the round. They don’t get anything in this situation, but their weapons and equipment move on to the next round.
It is each player’s responsibility to ensure they have enough money before each round to purchase what they need. Gamers of AW must either utilise weaponry that increases their income or save a lot of money in order to afford frags and other items. To put it briefly, you must perform the necessary calculations and ensure that your CS2 accounts economy is accurate, paying particular attention to the sources of money.
How much money you get from frags by weapons
- Pistol frags bring $300 per frag; except CZ75-A, which brings $100 per frag
- Shotgun frags net you $900
- SMG frags bring $600 each; except P90
- All Rifles and P90, as well as Sniper Rifles, brings $300; except AWP
- Each AWP frag earns you $100
- A knife frag reward is $1,500
- A grenade frag earns $300
- Zeus X27 taser does not bring money at all!
CS2 Money Management: eco-rounds, anti-ecos, Full Buys
To get what they need, the Attack Squad will need to spend roughly $5,000 on each member. It will cost the Defense an additional $6,000 or so. - Sometimes a team doesn’t have any money, and each person has less than $2,000 in their account. This is called “economic,” or “Eco.” In these kinds of rounds, people usually don’t buy anything, or at most P250. The attack side’s main job in eco-rounds is to place C4, and the Defense side’s main job is to get as many frags as possible at all costs.
- Anti-Eco, to put it simply, is the opposite of Eco. Shotguns or submachine guns are purchased in this round by players who lost their lives in the previous round in an attempt to increase their profits. Farm-rounds also go by this moniker.
- A Full Buy round is when a team buys the best gear that is offered. Defense buys M4s and AWPs, and Attack buys AKs and AWPs. grenades, shields, and defuse kits, among other products.
