Valve first released counter strike 2 beta version after ending CSGO. The official release counter strike 2 release date was September 27, 2023. The full version of Counter-Strike 2 is now available. In this blog, we will talk about the CSGO ranks and how they relate to the CS2 ranking system.
The first version of the game Counter-Strike was called CSGO, and the latest version is called CS2. CSGO had 18 ranks that showed how skilled a player was; players could move up to the top rank by playing and winning matches. Players would get a new rank after winning a certain number of matches in the competitive mode of the game. The lowest csgo ranks was silver 1, and the highest csgo ranks was global elite.
Here is a list of all CSGO ranks.
- Silver I (S1)– Silver IV (S4)
- Silver Elite (SE) – Silver Elite Master (SEM)
- Gold Nova I (GN1) – Gold Nova Master (GNM)
- Master Guardian I (MG1) – Master Guardian Elite (MGE)
- Distinguished Master Guardian, DMG CSGO
- Legendary Eagle (LE)
- Legendary Eagle Master (LEM)
- Supreme Master First Class (SMFC)
- Global Elite CSGO (GE)
Here are all the csgo ranks in order. A lot of people were in the gold nova range when the ranks were distributed.
All CS:GO ranks have been turned into CS2 ratings. For each CSGO ranks, there are now different CS2 ratings that you can earn in the CS2 premier mode of the game.
To get your CS rating, you need to win 10 games. We’ll explain how the CSGO ranks are identical to the CS2 ranks.
Here is a list of all CS2 ratings.
- 4,999 and below – Gray
- 5,000 to 9,000 – Light Blue
- 10,000 to 14,999 – Blue
- 15,000 to 19,999 – Purple
- 20,000 to 24,999 – Fuchsia
- 25,000 to 29,999 – Red
- 30,000 and above – Gold
It is possible to match CS ranks to CS2 ratings, but there isn’t any estimate data by valve or confirmation by valve that those ratings are equal to which CSGO ranks.
The CS:GO ranking system was very easy; there were only 18 ranks. However, in the brand-new game Counter-Strike: 2, players can earn up to 40,000 ratings, which range from 1000 to 40,000. According to some websites’ data, the global elite CSGO ranks are the same as 15000 CS ratings. However, Valve has not told us this.
CS2 FACEIT RANKS
Faceit is a third-party client that supports CS2 servers so that top players can play games without having to worry about cheaters. There is a much better anti-cheat system on Faceit than there is on Valve, which is why people love to play on Faceit and not worry about cheating.
